This is an in-person on campus, non-remote position. The University has implemented a pilot program allowing employees to work either a compressed 4-day work week with extended workdays or may work from home one day a week. Participation is subject to Divisional Executive approval depending on operational need.

Brief Job Overview/Summary

The School of Arts and Humanities is looking for individuals with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to assist in various capacities through the school. Good organizational and customer service skills required. Must be detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Multiple positions available.

Descriptions of Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

ARHU Dean's Office
*Under the direction of the Dean's Office of the School of Arts and Humanities, qualified candidates will:
* Answer phones in a timely and professional manner
*Become familiar with the specific mission of the facility to communicate with students, faculty and other staff on site.
*Perform receptionist duties as assigned
*Support Stockton University’s commitment to diversity and strong student-centered vision and mission
*Maintain essential records and files
*Provide support/assist staff with office systems and organization
*On occasion, be asked to assist with school-wide events on an as-needed basis

Communication Studies Media Production Staff Assistant
*This TES assignment is responsible for the completion and consistent execution of program goals, in line with faculty and administration, for the
media production track within the Communication Studies program under the School of Arts and Humanities.

Theatre Assistant:
*Assist the Technical Director with the management, maintenance, and operations of the costume shop and equipment to ensure the timely and accurate realization of all costume elements for the Theatre program productions including the laundry, ironing, and steaming for each Theatre production.
*Assist the Technical Director with the management, maintenance, and operating performance related electrical systems, sound system, multimedia system, and all corresponding equipment to ensure the timely and accurate realization of all tech elements for the Theatre program productions.
*Assist the Technical Director with the management, maintenance, and operation of the scene shop and equipment to ensure the timely and accurate realization of all scenery elements for the Theatre program productions including projections, props and set dressing.

Art Gallery Assistant and Collections Care Specialist:
*The Gallery Assistant and Collections Care Specialist will be responsible for the care, handling, and display of artwork for the Stockton University Gallery (and related locations) and report to the Exhibition Coordinator. The Assistant is responsible for a variety of tasks relating to the installation, de-installation, display, care, handling, and packing of artworks owned by, loaned to, and exhibited at the gallery as well as assist the Exhibition Coordinator with design, programming and outreach.

Performing Arts Center-ON-Call Stagehand Assistant:
*Responsible for performing the overall set-up operation, take-out, inventory, and maintenance of all types of audio, lighting, musical, and stage equipment used in the Performing Arts Center.

Noyes Art Museum:
*Greet guests in person and by phone at front desk, process gift shop sales, maintain daily operational spreadsheets, perform other related duties as assigned, assist with programming and events when needed, create original event flyers, provide information to the public as needed about current and upcoming Noyes Museum of Art of Stockton University exhibitions, programming, and events.

Visual Arts:
*Figure Models for ARTV Classes

South Jersey Culture & History Center:
*The TES will sort, organize, describe, and study approximately 600 physical and digital documents related to Alliance.
*Most work will be completed within the Special Collections department, Bjork Library, on Stockton's Galloway, NJ, campus.

Dance
*Accompanist for Dance Classes
