This is an in-person on campus, non-remote position. The University has implemented a pilot program allowing employees to work either a compressed 4-day work week with extended workdays or may work from home one day a week. Participation is subject to Divisional Executive approval depending on operational need.

Brief Job Overview/Summary

Individual will oversee reception functions for site, assist faculty and students with printing and general technology needs, collect data as needed and assist with reports, web site updates and the creation of flyers and social media posts as needed. Flexible scheduling necessary morning/afternoon and afternoon/evening shifts available. Occasional weekends hours may be needed. Hours are subject to change due to course and program scheduling needs and semester breaks.

Descriptions of Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

This position will require an individual who possesses excellent customer service skills. Experience working in an office and/or with events. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic technology required. Assist with logistics related to courses, events and meetings. Provide general information to guests and respond to email and phone inquiries. Assist with documenting activity, collecting data and prepare printed materials and reports as needed.

Required Qualifications

This position will require an individual who possesses excellent customer service skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and office programs.
Basic knowledge of social media

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's
• Prior administrative/office support experience preferably in an educational environment

• Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Highly dependable and responsive to tasks-at-hand
• Exhibit outstanding organizational and time management abilities
• Have a high degree of accuracy and detail oriented
• Multi task effectively and are flexible to the needs of a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
