This is an in-person on campus, non-remote position. The University has implemented a pilot program allowing employees to work either a compressed 4-day work week with extended workdays or may work from home one day a week. Participation is subject to Divisional Executive approval depending on operational need.

Brief Job Overview/Summary

Atlantic City Campus Operations is seeking responsible and motivated individuals for the 2023-2024 Academic Year who are interested in becoming part of our Atlantic City Campus Operations team. Students will gain hands-on training and experience in event management, marketing, facility operations and customer service.

Descriptions of Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

The Student Operations Assistant for the Atlantic City Campus will be responsible for the following:

  • Oversee various areas of the AC Campus, including but not limited to: John F. Scarpa Academic Center Info Desk, Residential Complex Info Desk, AC Campus Fitness Center
  • Customer service (answering phones, greeting guests, answering questions, etc.)
  • Report and record unusual incidents, injuries, lost and found, damaged property or emergencies
  • Maintain a working knowledge of daily activities in both buildings and general knowledge of the AC Campus
  • Assist in the overall development and implementation of AC Campus sponsored programs
  • Attend staff meetings and trainings as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 Required Qualifications

  • Candidates must be currently enrolled at Stockton University during the time of employment
  • Flexibility to work days, evenings, Monday-Friday and weekends, as well as some early mornings and late evenings
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to problem solve
