Brief Job Overview/Summary


The Operations Assistant provides customer service, supports events and programs, helps with basic AV setup, supervises Game Room operations, and assists with equipment rentals. Helps keep Campus Center spaces safe and organized by reporting issues and assisting during events.

Descriptions of Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Provide information, ticketing, and lost and found services to students, faculty, staff, and visitors
• Provide on-site facility management including the enforcement of facility- and program-related policies
• Assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and functional facility by conducting walkthroughs and reporting/ responding to emergencies, injuries, damaged/missing property, and incidents
• Provide event assistance, including guest relations and audio visual setup and troubleshooting
• Supervise Game Room operations and manage equipment rentals
• Utilize technology to complete tasks and to deliver services to customers
• Attend regularly scheduled staff trainings with Event Services & Campus Center Operations student staff
• Assist with University-wide programs, dances, and other special events
• Assist with the implementation of Campus Center-sponsored programs
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Enrollment as a matriculated student in an undergraduate or graduate program at Stockton University with a minimum of 6 credits per semester during the period of employment.
• Must maintain a GPA of at least 2.0 during the period of employment
• Federal Work Study is not required but Work Study students are eligible.
