Work Hours: 10 - 15 hours per week

Brief Job Overview/Summary

The student scheduler helps manage campus event requests by reviewing submissions, entering details into 25Live, and confirming space availability. They assist with updating event information, communicating with campus partners about setup needs, and making simple room changes when needed. The role also includes basic administrative tasks and helping the Event Services team keep event schedules accurate and organized.

Descriptions of Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Provides on-site assistance at events (greets guests, directs guests to event locations, decorates and adjusts room setups as needed
• Attends mandatory training sessions
• Provides customer service and general office support (answering phones, picking up and delivering mail)
• Assisting with the maintenance of kiosks and event related signage
• Utilizes the 25Live scheduling system to reserve facilities and support services for campus events
• Develops room layout diagrams through the use of Social Tables
• Initiate work order requests through established e-mail distribution lists and use of the School Dude on-line work order system
• Assist with event planning meetings
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in an office environment and basic computer skills are a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

• Students in hospitality and tourism studies programs are preferred
