Brief Job Overview/Summary

The Bursar’s Office at Stockton University is seeking a Program Assistant to support daily operations within the office. The Program Assistant will work collaboratively with all Bursar personnel to achieve operational goals within the office and the Division of Administration and Finance.

Descriptions of Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist in monitoring shared Email accounts
• Manage Shared outlook calendars with updates
• Assist with updating social media accounts, and informational materials
• Coordinate communication for affinity group's student accounts
• Assist in monitoring Transfer Pathways student accounts throughout the semester
• Cashiering functions, including collecting and accounting for payments from students, staff, departments, and foundations, recording daily deposits, and assisting with external bank deposits
• Assists in managing office inventory
• Provide excellent customer service via in-person, phone, email, text message etc.
• Participate in all Divisional Events as needed i.e. Open House, Orientation, Admitted Students Day. Processes Direct Deposit Request for students
• Process student direct deposit requests
• Assists in monitoring petty cash, vending machine funds, C-bord requests, and mailed check payments.
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Student Accounts

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year of professional experience in Higher Education

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree
• One (1) year of professional experience in Bursar or Financial Aid department
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Ellucian Banner, Touchnet, and familiarity with database or ERP systems.
• Experience in a fast-paced, executive-level office environment
• One (2) Year Cashiering Experience
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
