Brief Job Overview/Summary

Stockton University is seeking a skilled, detail-oriented, and forward thinking Director of Strategic Enrollment Management Operations/Technology to support the implementation, management, and optimization of centralized strategic enrollment management operations and technology systems, including the University’s strategic enrollment management Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform, to support outreach, recruitment, undergraduate and graduate admissions, and financial aid and scholarships.

Descriptions of Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Design, troubleshoot, administer and maintain Technolutions Slate and/or other comparable strategic enrollment management CRM platforms and interfacing with Ellucian Banner, ensuring efficient operations for outreach, recruitment, undergraduate and graduate admissions, and financial aid and scholarships. Develop and optimize workflows, queries, reports, and communications within the CRM to improve recruitment and enrollment processes. Explore new strategic technologies, automation, and artificial intelligence integrations related to strategic enrollment management operations. Ensure data being transmitted through the system is accurate and organized. Conduct vendor vetting/exploration, negotiation, and contracting. Collaborate with Enrollment Management, Information Technology Services, and other university departments to ensure accurate data flow and system integration. Train staff on CRM functionalities, troubleshooting system issues, and recommend process improvements. Assist in the development and execution of automated communications, event management, and application review processes. Ensure data integrity by performing regular audits, troubleshooting errors, and maintaining accurate records in compliance with university and industry standards. Generate, analyze, and make recommendations related to recruitment and data trends to the vice president for enrollment management. Stay current on best practices and advancements in Enrollment Management CRM, Banner, and other admissions-related technologies.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in query building, data imports/exports, and system configuration
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage large data sets
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to train and support non-technical users
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college
  • Team-oriented, positive, and nimble professional leader and colleague

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, higher education administration, or a related field
  • 5 years minimum experience working with Technolutions Slate and/or other strategic enrollment management platforms, and Ellucian Banner or other comprehensive ERP system in a higher education setting – outreach, recruitment, admissions, financial aid and scholarships, or strategic enrollment management operations setting preferred
  • Experience with SQL, APIs, or other data integration tools
  • Knowledge of higher education outreach, recruitment, admissions, financial aid and scholarships, and/or strategic enrollment management operations, processes, and best practices
  • Experience with CRM automation, email campaigns, and event management
