Brief Job Overview/Summary
Assistant Professor of Production Management to join the Theatre faculty with special focus on the program concentrations of Creative Project Development and Producing & Management.
Descriptions of Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Teach courses in Producing & Management for Stage and Screen (topics covering Production Management, Stage Management, Producing for Stage, Producing for Screen, Collaborative Team Leadership), History of Drama (specific historical topics of expertise/interest/specialization are welcomed), as well as courses in the Stockton’s “General Studies” curriculum
- Teaching load: two courses per semester, plus co-curricular production work equivalent to a third course per semester
- Other duties as assigned by the Dean or their designee
Required Qualifications
- MFA required
- The successful candidate will demonstrate high artistic, academic, professional, and ethical standards; a record of successful creative and academic endeavors; a strong professional background; and a record of teaching excellence
- Candidates must present clear evidence of the ability and willingness to work as a collaborative colleague and to fill leadership roles in program and college activities
